Review from Billy Farris, Guitarist with Bettye LaVette

"These pickups are great! I like the way the bridge pickup gives detail without that brittle top end that makes me feel like my fillings got pulled out and put in upside-down, like some high-end pickups I've used. I'm really happy with these."

"I've been lucky enough to be a professional player for the last 35 years...playing guitar and bass has had me touring around the U.S. and Europe frequently in the last decade, and I do a good bit of studio work and production now as well. I think I know pretty well what I like in a guitar sound, especially a Tele. My old pickups (a Fender 50s reissue and a Seymour Duncan) had served me pretty well through the last few years and the last few CDs, so I was a bit skeptical when I let Bud replace them with his new Wonderdogs. Man, what a difference though! I was blown away. These pickups really feel good. Warm and clear, crunchy when you dig in and clean when you don't...really amazing. It's sort of spoiled me for any other guitar now! Not that that's a problem.

Recently I've equipped one of my Precisions with Bud's new Bass Pickups, and they're amazing as well. I have a lot of basses for stage and studio stuff, and this is now my "Go To" bass when I'm looking for that classic 50's tone, or if I'm trying to get those Muscle Shoals and Motown vibes. I didn't really have that before, but I've got it now."

"I'm really excited about these pickups! They bring out the resonant tone of the wood in my guitars, and they have that wonderful classic character...they're super responsive, and they can kick out like crazy. I use the Triple Threat Saddles too, and it's great to get that old Tele tone and to really be in tune!"

"These Precision Pickups are warm yet clear, and very natural sounding...I really like them. Overall, they're very even-toned from top to bottom. I put them on a bass that I tour with often and it's made that particular bass one of my favorites...it's improved the sound of it immensely."
